Registration Requirements
There are 4 classes of members
Ordinary
A person who holds no qualifications recognized by the Institute, may apply to be, and may admitted as an Ordinary Member, if, in the opinion of the Council, he justifies admission into this category. The minimum entry requirement for this category is 2’A level subjects.
Fellow
The Qualification for admission as a Fellow of the Institute are:
- Shall have been engaged in banking business, and shall have rendered service to the institute and/or to banking to the satisfaction of Council
- They shall have been a member of the Institute for a period of not less than one (1) year
- They shall hold a position which in the opinion of Council is of sufficient standing to justify candidate being admitted as a Fellow
- Nomination shall be signed by four (4) members who are either Fellows or Associates
Associate
Associates shall have passed the final Examinations and awarded the Diploma of the Institute.
Affiliate
A person who holds no qualification recognized by the Institute and who is not employed by a sponsor Bank of the Institute, may apply To be, and may be admitted as an Affiliate member if, in the opinion of the Council, he justifies admission into this category.
