Genesis

City Study Centre can be traced from Multi Commercial College. The founders of City Study Centre, Dr Tichinani Mavetera and Tarisai Mavetera purchased a 60% shareholding in Multi Commercial College from the founding shareholders. After a year of operations, the original shareholders sold their minority 40% remaining shareholding paving way for the current directors to assume total control.

The Directors then discarded the old name and registered City Study Centre. The College grew phenomenally, opening branches in Gweru, Bulawayo and Gutu. Due to the economic meltdown, the College closed all the other branches to focus on the Harare operations which remains.
